Wele Clinic opened in 2023 with a clear mission: to provide thoughtful, patient-centered psychiatric care that blends clinical rigor with a calm, supportive experience. Led by Mehdi Omidvari, M.D., the practice helps adults navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, treatment-resistant depression, and related mental health challenges.
At Wele Clinic, treatment is built around careful assessment, clear communication, and individualized planning. The practice emphasizes patient-centered care, evidence-based treatment, a holistic view of mental health, and a comfortable in-person setting—including zero-gravity chairs and close monitoring during interventional treatments such as Spravato and IV ketamine.
In one of the most competitive Spravato markets in the country, Wele Clinic stands out for its psychiatrist-led model, strong patient trust signals, and the combination of Spravato, IV ketamine, psychotherapy, and medication management under one board-certified physician's direct oversight.
Wele Clinic is led by Mehdi Omidvari, M.D., Medical Director. His clinical and research background reflects a strong foundation in outpatient psychiatry, interventional psychiatry, and psychotherapy training.
Dr. Omidvari is a board-certified adult psychiatrist focused on outpatient psychiatry, depression, anxiety, ketamine, and related interventional treatment contexts. His training path includes an M.D. from Fasa University of Medical Science, postdoctoral research at Johns Hopkins University in Interventional Psychiatry and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, psychiatry training at the State University of New York, Brooklyn, a fellowship in Psychosomatic Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and psychodynamic psychotherapy training at the NYU Institute for Psychoanalytic Training. He brings a patient-centered, evidence-based approach to every treatment plan, and he also offers care in Farsi.
Wele Clinic currently offers four core service areas: Spravato, IV ketamine therapy, psychotherapy, and medication management. These services support adults seeking personalized psychiatric care, including treatment for depression, anxiety, PTSD, and treatment-resistant depression.
The in-person experience at Wele Clinic is designed to feel both welcoming and clinically sound. Interventional treatments are delivered in a serene setting with zero-gravity chairs and real-time monitoring, helping patients feel supported throughout care.
Care at Wele Clinic usually begins with a consultation and assessment, followed by a customized treatment plan and ongoing support. For Spravato, the process typically includes consultation, insurance verification, supervised dosing in a certified setting, observation, and follow-up. For IV ketamine, treatment includes preparation guidance, a medically supervised session, monitoring, and adjustments as needed over time.
